What do you think the most under appreciated car colour has been in the last fifteen years? My vote goes for "Green Gem Metallic" (if that's the actual name) on the Ford Taurus SHO, which is no longer offered. A shame, really.

The SHO as a car is very unappreciated

I love that color, never understood why they never offered it on the Mustang - I would have ordered it in a heartbeat.

We were actually just talking about it. I figure they keep the darker greens for the Bullitts.

Honda made a deep shade of metallic blue for a while that looked GORGEOUS on whatever they put it on. I've seen it on Accords, Civics, and Fits. Not sure what it's official name is.

The color is perfect. Why is green generally absent from most auto maker's color pallets? I am starting to get tired of all the shades of grey and silver.

The 90's tainted some peoples views of green.

Am I the only one who hates green cars? I should also specify that I do like lime green in limited applications but other than that, I hate green cars

That is a beautiful green.
I've always like the Sapphire Black Pearl that came on the Nissan cube. Hard to tell in pictures but close up it goes from black to a metallic blue in the right light.

Guard is definitely the best color on the '15s, but I'd still prefer something darker.

Definitely greens in general. They've often neglected at the table for the monotones (black, gray, silver, white), the various reds and blues, and beiges (beige, gold, sand, champagne, etc.).
Whenever I'm playing "if I won the lottery and am buying new cars built to my exact specification", I almost always pick a green if it is available, especially for the F-Series trucks (there needs to be more "army green" Raptors!).
My most favorite green of the last few decades is one that Toyota/Lexus have for the Camry and ES350, a darker green-yellow metallic, almost like a deep, shiny olive. I could have that color or one like it on almost any car.
The photo (not mine) doesn't do it justice.
edit it might be the "Spruce Green Mica" someone posted below. Getting ready for work and don't have time to check.
